This was a custom 5.5 x 9 journal that was made especially for a bride to give her fiance after their wedding. It had to fit in this box the bride previously purchased.

2 Special Journals

Ordinarily, I really enjoy posting the custom journals I create for various people and purposes. . .however, today, I am not so thrilled to share. It's not that I'm not proud of the designs, it's just the subject matter and purpose behind them. Allow me to demonstrate.

In the span of a few days, my client's best friend lost a child and then also had a cousin lose a child. One was 2 years old and one was 4, and were apparently otherwise unrelated and due to different causes. I was happy to provide her with memorial journals, which she will give to her friend and cousin, and hopefully provide some peace and comfort to these families as they journal their memories of each of their loved one. I can tell you that this is one client I won't ever forget.

for Spencer's mama. Apparently, Spencer's mommy has lots and lots to write about because she ordered 3  custom sized journals with 200 pages each. I just love how they came out!

I've been getting some positive comments on my packaging lately and thought this box was especially cute, so I am showing it here. 

A Custom Journal

This design was a bit of a departure from my usual "Mommy Journals,  but I love how it turned out! I especially love the color (purple is my personal fave color). 

I should also point out the the 2nd picture looks a little grainey or washed out. . .but I used this cool technique with pearl ex and so in person it's got a bit of a pearl-ish, purple-ish sheen.
