Richner Randomness

This is Madox - 5 years old - leaning to knee board. He loved it.

Few things are better than a fresh pedicure.

Here's a rare photo of me (usually I'm busy taking pix of everyone else and also don't particularly care to be photographed)

'Course, I could take pictures of this one all day long.

Sisters!

"Little George" {apparently, this it the lure's name}

Just a silly boy.

And a silly girl

Lake pictures

She could not catch a break with this suit - permanent wedgie!

Mason has entered the phase where he does not want his photo taken.

She'll always give me a smile.

See what happens when you don't cooperate? A photo of you sleeping gets posted to the blog!

Now he's happy - took a nap and caught a fish!

He's not complaining about posing now!

Marley - relentlessly pursuing the tennis ball. They float so nice!

Yesterday, we had a little break from the heat (only 99 instead of 103) provided by these beautiful clouds

We also had about 10 sprinkles of rain fall on us - right when we were eating!

It's 103 degrees, of course we're on the lake

My 2 favorite girls in the whole wide world. They are so different- salt and pepper, chocolate and vanilla, angel food cake and devil's food cake? Nah, they are both angels (most of the time)

Brother didn't want to miss out on any photo ops.

While the others were posing, Mason was practicing his kneeboarding skills. Unfortunately, he has my coordination and balance, which means he'll need lots of practice!

The "waterfall" (aka Temple's waste water treatment plant discharge). Everyone loves to climb it.

My main squeeze for the last 20-something years!

To say the lake is "down"

is something of an understatement!

This is the dock - it is usually horizontal, not at a drastic downhill angle. I'm not sure if the low lake level kept people at home today, but the lake was practically a no-man's-land this afternoon.

Our last hoo-rah on the lake

Madox's cannonball; and his "YEAH!" after.

Madison driving.
Tillie on the front of the boat. Here she is reeling in a fish. She wouldn't touch it and Mark threw it back before I got a picture.

Mark's cannonball

Mason's cannonball.
