Rv-ing on the Guadalupe

Madison, Madox and Mason

Matilda and Blake

Woo hoo! Mark driving the giant RV

Aunt Vickie, his trusty co-pilot!

Blake, sawing logs/rubber necking, too hilarious!

Madison opening her presents on her b-day. At like 8:00am before a day of "toobin'"

Daddy assembling the baby pram (is it normal for a 7yo to still play with babies?)

Her Barbie (aka pediatrician) set.

Cake! Cake! Cake!

Doin' the happy dance - ?

Anyone know a good dentist??

We were laughing ourselves silly watching the kids with these "hillbilly teeth." We went to Blanco State Park for a camping trip and Mason somehow won this set of 3 hillbilly teeth. Well, while we was off somewhere else, the little kids got into his loot and were trying on the teeth. We were laughing so hard I almost peed my own pants.  Madox was most hysterical - "Where my teeth?"

It poured rain the whole rest of the time, but we got a great laugh from this.

Southern Living Idea House

One thing that Mark and I really love to do - but haven't gotten to do much of in the past few years - is tour houses. While we were in Corpus this past weekend, the Southern Living Model Home was open so we braved it and went in! Here are pictures from that house. It is sold already - for $1.8 million, the agent told us.

Holiday Weekend

It was the holiday weekend and we found out the camper at Port Aransas was available, so we headed down to the beach for the weekend. This is a picture of the camper and the golf cart - our means of transportation while we are there - and the kids' favorite thing about going there.

Here's the whole group. What you can't see is the awful sunburn everyone has. I sprayed them down, but with the wind it must now have been the best job, because everyone was splotchy burned. Yuck!

Camping Trip. . .

. . .also fondly known as "Getting Eaten Alive by Mosquitoes and Chiggers"

There was a small lake at Fort Parker, which was for swimming and fishing. The kids did plenty of both. It's impossible to get one picture with all of the kids in it, so here is a shot with at least one child, maybe 2. And Madison is almost always willing to pose for me.

The park was named after one of the families that first settled there - here is where we went to visit the actual "Fort". Group shot of all the kids. Madison and Madox.

This is a sign posted by the fishing dock.
